These gazetteers are derived from HERE mapping data and provided lists of geocoded places or streets (includes lat/long co-ordinates for each location). In addition to the town name, the place gazetteer also provides the districts and counties they lie in.What's key?
Place gazetteer
- Detailed list of named places, as well as the town, district and county it lies in
- Includes latitude and longitude co-ordinates so can be used for geocoding your own data onto the map
Street gazetteer
- Provides street names and alternative street names
- Used for adding a sense of place to your own street network and navigating around your map
- Data is supplied for up to 5 users
- This data is provided with an annual licence (perpetual also available) including a single update each time the licence is renewed. More frequent updates, specific usage licenses (e.g. per vehicle, routing or optimisation) and sub-regions also available, contact us for further details
