About Product

Over 20,000 named retail area boundaries spatially defining, classifying and scoring the areas of retail concentration across the UK, including town centres, local hubs, parades, retail parks, standalone shopping centres and shopping villages. The top 2,100 centre polygons contain 10m 'pitch' grids that show where the most attractive areas are to locate an outlet within a centre. Each retail place also includes a matching set of building outlines contained within them. Additionally, each location is consistently scored making it simple to compare different areas of the country. This dataset now includes over 700 managed shopping centres, 105 railway stations and 250 road and motorway services.
