Mapmechanics will be presenting and exhibiting at the upcoming Geoconnect Show in October 2016. Free to register and attend, attendees will be able to see us at stand 87A to get a better insight into our essential range of geospatial products and services.
Taking place at ExCeL London, Western Gateway from the 19th – 20th of October, Geoconnect aims to “focus on technology advances changing the way that geobusiness is done today. Bringing together practitioners, disrupters, innovators and theorists from academia, business, government and technology community.”
Mapmechanics Director of Sales, Innovation & Research David Cockrell will be delivering a presentation entitled ‘Urban logistics in the ecommerce industry’ on the 20th of October at 11:20am. The topics discussed will include:
- Facing the challenges of ecommerce in urban areas
- Using an integrated approach in fleet management and vehicle routing for more efficient logistics processes
- Using data driven solutions to enhance existing operations
- Using additional location intelligence to drive greater efficiencies and reduce ecological footprints
As a leading specialist in UK and worldwide digital mapping, demographic data, business intelligence solutions and geographic information systems, Mapmechanics will be demonstrating the latest advances in GIS and locational data.
Mapmechanics will be hosting a multimedia display to demonstrate the benefits of a range of geospatial datasets and GIS technologies and the way in which these can enhance the mapping capabilities of a range of geobusiness projects. This will also be an excellent chance for attendees to secure a free demo with Mapmechanics, where they will be able to see how they can exploit locational data to boost and expand the scope of their business intelligence systems and geomarketing analysis.
The Geoconnect Show is co-located with the Commercial UAV Show – Mapmechanics also have a keen interest in the benefits of UAV technology and drones in particular. Click here to read our original blog piece What will the future hold for drones?.
