Allmapdata offers all the functionality you would expect to find on a full e-commerce site with search facilities, narrow by options, recently viewed products, basket, multiple currencies and compare product facilities. When you select a product you can also see clear recommendations of other products that work with the selected product or maybe alternatives to consider.

Creating and annotating a saved list of products to review with colleagues

Free registration gives you a log-in so you can save lists of products and details such as price calculations for products configured to your specific requirements. As you find products you are interested in, it is likely that you may want to review with your team before purchase. So allmapdata offers a saved list option with a comment field so you can explain why you have selected it or any questions for your colleagues. eg. "Dave, do we you have 2 or 5 users in your team who need access to this?" or "Pete, we need this to profile our most successful areas and then identify others with a high potential -- this will ensure we get best roi from sales team"

Comparing multi-user options

Data is often licensed per user and each data supplier has different multi-user rates, so for example, a 5 user might be twice the price of the list price for one supplier and for another supplier, up to 5 users might be included in the list price. To ensure you are comparing like with like, allmapdata has the option to save product information configured to your particular number of users or licence type. This option is available once you have logged in (registration is free) and you can see your different configured options together in a saved list before moving to the basket.

Adding a bespoke product to your list and/or basket

Some products are not priced, for example when we need to confirm delivery times or there is too wide a range of options (aerial photography for any small part of a country or boundary data for a specific group of individual postcode areas). In these circumstances you will find a "please call" notice against the product. However, you can still order these online as our staff can ascertain the details from you and facilitate your online purchase.

Paying by purchase order

Many of our current customers, raise purchase orders and we invoice them when the product is dispatched. P.O.s are the standard purchasing method employed by many organisations, so allmapdata retains this facility. All you need to do is contact us and after passing the usual credit and related checks, we will be able to switch on this functionality for your login to enable you to order using PO numbers instead of payment at time of order.
